Summer Festival
Summer Saturday Live in Dorchester kicks off for a season of live music and street theatre every Saturday. Check out the new stage at the bottom of South Street featuring original artwork and stage decs by the much lauded and inimitable street artist guru Pete Sheridan.
If you would like to take advantage of the space and want a chance to perform send an email. The stage was set up by the community, for the community and it is available every Saturday throughout the Summer from 10.30am – 12.30pm

Elephant Talk featuring Matt Tarling.
Since reforming in Spring ’09 UK band Elephant Talk have been stunning audiences with their unique ‘Urban Folk’ sound.

They skilfully combine authentically played traditional acoustic music with a wide range of electronica including: dub, dubstep, drum and bass, trance, nujazz and techno. This is proving to be popular with a wide audience in music venues, festivals and events throughout the UK and Europe.

Gaiety Engine
A wolf-boy, a squeamish fakir, a feline escapologist and a mermaid named Terence, these are a few of the Gaiety Engine’s exhibits. Allow the dapper and demented Isaiah Crank and his mildewed assistant Tolley-boy to guide you through the last remaining Victorian freakshow!
